The mission of the Petaluma Health Care District is to improve the health and well-being of our community.  We recognize that health is a state of complete physical, mental, and societal well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. We also recognize that education plays a key role in the health of our community and our economy.

To help spread this message and to draw attention to the critical importance of early childhood education, PHCD - along with a dozen community partners -invites you to attend the free premiere of the documentary short film "Are We Crazy About Our Kids? The Cost/Benefit Equation" on the evening of Wednesday, April 9th. The event will be held at Boulevard 14 Cinemas in downtown Petaluma.

This eye-opening documentary brings to life the critical studies of renowned economists, researchers, and Nobel laureates to show that we can either invest for success now or pay more for failure later. The premiere will be followed by an inspiring panel discussion among Petaluma Business Leaders and Early Education Professionals.

Learn what's being done to meet the needs of our local families and to support the development of our next generation of workers, entrepreneurs, and leaders.

Doors open at 6:15 pm. Please RSVP to scochrane@phcd.org.
